Airalo - Spring Break Campaign
The Campaign:
Airalo’s global airport campaign was designed to reach international travellers at the exact moment they start thinking about staying connected abroad. Activated across pre-departure touchpoints - including shopping areas, boarding piers, and gates - the campaign ensured visibility at every step of the journey. By meeting travellers in airports worldwide, Airalo positioned itself as the go-to solution for seamless international connectivity, combining timing, context, and convenience to turn a simple consideration into an instant action. The campaign leveraged engaging 3D animations to capture attention and communicate the brand message clearly, making it both visually striking and highly relevant.
Role: Senior Motion Designer
Developed key motion assets, coordinated external animation outputs, and created scalable production templates to support both internal teams and client-side localisation.
Challenge
How do you deliver a global campaign across multiple destinations, languages and formats while maintaining creative consistency and production efficiency?
The campaign needed to capture the excitement and spontaneity of travel while remaining flexible enough to scale across a wide range of markets and outputs.
Response
Working closely with the Motion Director, ECD, designers and animators, I helped bring the campaign vision to life through a combination of creative development and production systems thinking.
I developed the hero 3D switch asset, contributed to early animation explorations, and collaborated in creative discussions around how the campaign would move and behave.
To support rollout at scale, I built a series of motion templates for internal teams and created a client-facing After Effects Essential Graphics system that enabled destinations, languages and animations to be updated efficiently while maintaining consistency.
I also managed the integration of 3D assets from multiple 3D artists and oversaw final rendering and delivery across campaign outputs.
Outcome
A flexible campaign system that successfully scaled across markets and formats while maintaining quality, consistency and efficient localisation workflows.
